Warranty Policies
All Products sold on the Site are covered by the Legal Guarantee of Conformity provided for by Articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code (Legal Guarantee).
Who it applies to:
The Legal Guarantee is reserved exclusively for consumers (as defined in Article 3, paragraph 1, letter a) of the Consumer Code). Therefore, it applies only to users who have made purchases on the Site for purposes not related to entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activities.
When to apply:
SALONIQUE is responsible for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery of the Product. The lack of conformity must be reported to the seller within two months of its discovery, otherwise the warranty will be voided.
After the sixth month, it will be up to the consumer to prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery.
The consumer must provide proof of the date of purchase and delivery of the goods to benefit from the Legal Guarantee. It is recommended to retain the purchase invoice or any other document certifying the date of purchase and delivery.
In the event of termination of the contract due to a defective item, SALONIQUE will refund the full amount paid, including the purchase price of the Product, shipping costs, and any other additional costs. In the event of a price reduction, the agreed-upon amount will be refunded, which will be credited to the payment method or solution used by the consumer for the purchase.
SALONIQUE is not responsible for damages resulting from improper use of the Product, failure to follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer, or damages caused by chance or force majeure.

The rules are different for sales made by one professional to another, whether the products are new or used (for example, a company selling a set of desks and office furniture to another company). In this case, the warranty is only one year. The parties obviously have the right to agree to a longer term, even upon payment.
The provision establishing the one-year guarantee for sales between professionals is Article 1495 of the Civil Code, paragraph 3. The provision states that "The action [for the guarantee] expires, in any case, one year after delivery."
It is therefore clear that when a person requests an invoice following a purchase, their intention is to "write off" that amount from taxes, precisely because the good is inherent to their professional or commercial activity.
Therefore, the customer enters into the contract not as a "consumer" but rather as a "professional." Consequently, since the Consumer Code no longer applies to such purchases with an invoice, the warranty is one year, not two.
If you want a two-year warranty on newly purchased products, the professional must refrain from deducting the purchase from taxes and not request an invoice. Indeed, only upon issuance of a receipt can it be assumed that the purchase was made for personal purposes and in the capacity of a "consumer."
